However, I believe the right mindset, skills, and awareness behind the wheel can make all the difference between a near miss and a tragedy.
Meet Tanya
Hi, I’m Tanya,
I’m passionate about helping drivers become confident, safe, and capable on the road. With 24 years experience as a Police Officer for the South Australian Police and 5 of those years in driver and traffic training, I bring a level of road-safety expertise that few instructors can match. I specialise in defensive driving and 'calm-under-pressure' techniques, ensuring my students can handle any surprise the road throws at them.
With my background in defensive and emergency driving, I teach more than how to just pass a test. I teach students how to handle real-world driving situations calmly and responsibly. As a fully qualified driving instructor and trainer, I tailor every lesson to suit each learner’s pace, needs, and confidence level.
I understand that learning to drive can be a big step for both teens and parents, so my approach is always patient, supportive, and clear. My focus is on building strong driving skills, good decision-making, and confidence that lasts well beyond the test. Parents can feel reassured knowing their child is learning in a calm, respectful, and safety-focused environment.
But beyond the uniform, I’m a mum. I understand the immense trust parents place in an instructor. My mission is to provide a bridge between the 'Learner' plate and total independence. I offer a patient, respectful, and supportive environment where even the most nervous beginners (no matter the age) feel at ease. I’m here to give parents peace of mind and give students the skills to stay safe on the road. Let’s build their confidence together.
